CLX Legal AB, company registration number 559568-8341, is the data controller for personal data processed through this website.

2. What Data We Process

We process the information needed to receive and follow up inquiries about immigration law, asylum matters, work permits, family reunification, citizenship, and public counsel. The exact data depends on the form you use and what information you choose to provide.

Please do not send sensitive personal data or other unnecessary privacy-sensitive information in free-text fields or attachments, such as health information, details about children, criminal allegations, bank information, or extensive identity documents, unless CLX Legal AB explicitly requests such information at a later stage.

• whether you are acting as a private individual or a company and, where relevant, company name
• case description, free-text answers, and other information you choose to include in forms or attachments
• personal identity number or other identifying data if the form asks for it or if you choose to provide it
• technical data such as IP address, basic browser and device information, and any strictly necessary technical cookies or similar storage
• data about form submissions, completed payments, phone-click events, and related conversion tracking when advertising measurement is enabled
• data about referral links or campaigns, for example which creator or partner link you arrived from if you use such a link

3. Why We Process the Data and Legal Basis

We process personal data for clearly defined purposes and based on applicable data protection law.

• to receive, assess, and answer your inquiry and determine whether CLX Legal AB can assist you further. Legal basis: steps taken at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a possible agreement.
• to manage follow-up, document contact channels, and ensure clear case handling. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• to measure which advertisements or campaigns lead to form submissions, completed payments, or phone clicks and to avoid duplicate counting of such conversions. Legal basis: legitimate interest and, where required, consent.
• to document which referral link, creator, or partner preceded an inquiry when you actively use such a unique link. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• for operations, troubleshooting, information security, abuse prevention, and rate limiting. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• to comply with legal obligations or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Legal basis: legal obligation and legitimate interest.

4. Recipients and Transfers

Personal data is handled within CLX Legal AB and is shared only with people who need the information for their work.

We may also engage suppliers for operations, hosting, form handling, email, storage, IT support, and other administrative functions. Such suppliers normally process data as processors on our behalf and under our instructions.

We do not sell personal data. If personal data in any case needs to be transferred outside the EU/EEA, CLX Legal AB will ensure that the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards permitted under the GDPR.

5. Storage Period

If your inquiry does not lead to a client relationship, the data is normally deleted no later than twelve months after the latest contact, unless longer retention is required by law or is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

If CLX Legal AB later accepts an engagement, CLX Legal AB's separate terms and policies for the client relationship apply.

6. Your Rights

Subject to the limitations laid down by law, you have the right to request access to your personal data and to have inaccurate data corrected. You may also request deletion, restriction of processing, or object to certain processing.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) if you believe that the processing violates applicable law.
